Frequently Asked Questions

We typically grind stumps 6–12 inches below ground level, which is sufficient for soil cover, grass, or basic landscaping. 


Stump grinding is not automatically included with tree removal, but it can be added to any removal job at a discounted rate if done at the same time. 


Wood chips are usually left on site and can be reused as mulch.  If you prefer removal, we can haul them away upon request. 


Yes.  Once the stump is ground and covered with soil, the area can be reseeded or landscaped.  We recommend allowing the area to settle before planting.
